Taylor Mansion Styled Shoot

This past fall I was busy. Very busy. Like probably in over my head busy. However, when I heard about a styled shoot that Ashley Henry (Henry Photography) was doing at one of my favorite Columbus Ohio wedding venues I knew I wanted to participate.

One of the things I rarely get to do anymore is shoot for fun. You see my camera use to be a hobby. Only a hobby. I never intended to do this as a career. Not in a million years would I have dreamt this. Fate had a different plan for me! I’m so glad it did. I’ve met SO many wonderful families and couples because of it. Busy is good for me. I’m not for a second complaining, because I find if I slow down too much I become completely useless… like lazy, really lazy (like don’t even brush my teeth in the morning lazy).  So my goal for 2016 is to do more shooting for fun. Maybe dabble in some nature photography or take my camera to personal events. I don’t ever want to look at my camera and think of it as work, because while it may be just that, it’s also a tool for me to capture moments that may have otherwise been forgotten.

Everything was gorgeous at this shoot, Ashley did such a wonderful job and all the vendors that participated outdid themselves!   Check out the vendors who participated in the list below and definitely consider them if you are planning a wedding yourself! Happy Friday!
