The Beverly Mansion
The Big Day
Hard to believe this wedding was almost a year ago! It’s like literally going down memory lane looking through these photos and smiling so big as I do so! This was my first time shooting at The Beverly Mansion. What a beautiful venue that I feel is like a hidden gem, I honestly feel like it doesn’t get enough attention. I love the romance the mansion offered, all the pretty green space around and I LOVED all the twinkling lights and their dance floor under the stars!
Marisa and Matt have the cutest story of how they met! When Marisa was four years old her mom babysat a boy who was a year older than her. Marisa remembers playing games together and fighting over who got to stir the mac and cheese for lunch. One day after he left she told her mom, “One day, I’m going to marry him”. Ten years later Marisa re-met that same boy all over again. Matt happened to be a gym helper in her gym class; this time he was the one with a crush, but too afraid to say anything. Then Marisa’s freshman year of high school they started talking again. They went on thier first date to homecoming, going to the oh-so-classy Olive Garden and the rest is history! I guess you can say Marisa knew they were meant to be all along. You know what I call that? Yep, you guessed it… KISMET!
If you could pick one word that describes you as a couple, what would it be?
What do you love most about her?
Her drive and passion.
What you do love most about him?
His ability to make me laugh and his caring heart.
